Is your dog fixed?

I have a 9-mo old maltese male that needs to get neutered next week. He only has one testes so he has to undergo surgery on that and OMG it's so expensive!!! The total charge to get him fixed is $658.48! Now my stepdaughter's dog is a female aussie shepherd and she needs to get spayed too and it will cost us $425 for that. She is now in season so we need to wait a few weeks to get it done cause they charge more when a female dog is in season. whew! I could use the money for something else but we don't want any more puppies.
Do you have a dog? If so, is your dog fixed? How much did you pay for it?

I have got a puppy since last October, he is becoming 10 months old now. I highly doubt I'm going to get him fixed because I might get another puppy later to breed them so I will see, I may or may not.
