i feel bad because of my rating!!

Dont feel bad..The star rating means absolutely nothing...I know I never look at what others are. If I wanna respond to a discussion I will no matter what the star rating is. Im sure Im not alone on that.

Hi Now you have been learn a lot.. I suggest try to make better post and qualified one, it will directly rise up your reputation i think. Because the other myLotter will give positive rating for sure. it have been guided with mylot as myLot discussion guidelines but You have no worry about the star issue how it will be influence in our earn. For those in Mylot that have low number ratings to their stars is depending how well people here build their reputation. As said from other members that replied to you it all depends how helpful your posts are. Do you relate to people? As it is, people have various interests according to their hobbies and what they like. It seems that depending on what users post on mylot, if say people who post constantly about other paid sites, asking about referrals and such won't really gain a rep by doing that. Let's say too that some people who come here to post ironic or frequent negative topics in means of disrespecting a person, race or beliefs will get negative feedback from it. You stand out as your own person in this site. Ask yourself what can you do to get positive feedback to others and how it will benefit you. Of course those with lower star ratings develop having limits on what they can do using Mylot. So then the best advice I can give you is, start something where you can post interesting topics, something that can be helpful to others, what it benefits to you and to other users. The more helpful, inspiring and friendly you are even the better.

Hello there! I believe it is because of people here rating your discussions and responses or comments, they have found that either negative or against the mylot guidelines. I did not know about the guidelines at all and then one day I checked that and I saw many things I was not supposed to do so I will suggest you to check the mylot guidelines for once.

I wouldn't worry about it to much. There will always be users that will give you negatives just because they don't agree with you. I know that isn't right, but that is the way it is. I had a 4 star for the longest time and I never let it bother me, then all of a sudden it shot up to a 6 then an 8, and I am very happy about that too. Just stay away from controversial topics, as those will cause your rating to fall. I felt the same way as you, when mine didn't go up, but then I just kept going, posting quality responses and I even started a few discussions, and then all of a sudden it shot right up. I am happy about that too. Just keep posting quality responses, starting discussions, and posting comments, and you will get your ratings back. The ratings aren't the most important thing in here anyway. Your ratings will go up, so I eally wouldn't worry about it. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi :O) Cheer up, I am really new here and dont even understand the star rating or how you get one, but I firmly believe you should not let othrs get you down. Mostly I have seen very positive people on here and maybe youve just run into a few of the mean ones that rated you bad, or maybe you did do something a bit wrong but hey no one is perfect and we all screw up once in a while. Either way be cool, its okay and just keep chuggung along. Life is a short and we must spend it enjoying it and having fun ;O) Take care!
