I feel touched after watching it. I think people really should not waste the food. We are already very lucky to have enough food, but we still complain about it. This will be a good lesson for everybody of us.

its really nice and i am so touched. it makes me think on how it is to save food and not waste it. its not that simple anyways, we need to save and conserve what ever we have. lucky that we have enough resources. not like other people who die of hunger or having bad health conditions because of lack of food and nutrients.
thanks friend

i agree with you, i think people should not waste food. If they make something and they dont like it they could give it to a friend, if they make too much they should save it for the next day. But the problem is that more people are concerned with themselvess and not others and how their actions affect others.

i think you are absolutely right! My mom told me that if i ever choose a man to get married, pay attention to his eating habit, a man who cherish the food, will cherish his loved one. I found that is very correct. So i found a boyfriend who will finish all his food and help me to finish my food too!

I don't waste my food. I used to take my enough of my portions or just share it before I eat something if it's too much. There are many people out there who still live in hunger. That's why I don't like table manner who suggest to leave some food on your plate because finishing all that are in the plate are consider 'rude' not mannered. I think those who think like that are not aware of the fact that they are lucky to be able to live where they are not to worry about what to eat today and tomorrow.

Most certainly! We are all so blessed and
fortunate to have plenty of food to eat.
Makes me want to be more conservative and
save food better so that it does not spoil.
Thanks for the reminder.

youless,
I feel that food wastage is really very predominant today, just visit your local buffet restaurants and you can see diners piling their dishes so high, that you just wonder if they can actually finish what's on their plates.
Wastage will be rampant as long as everyone do not play their part. To stop this it will have to begin with ourselves, not to shop over excess groceries, cook large portions that cannot be finished and over doing the meals for the family and/or parties. Whilst the food retailers could control with their serving portions and probably encourage diners by giving a discount for finishing their plates. Or, create menus that allow free second helpings.
Anyway, it is certainly a provoking clip for all of us, and I just hope that the poor in the future will not have to have feed themselves with those leftovers.

Thank you for sharing this link! Isn't it awful the way people waste food the way they do?! Think of all the prescious little children in other parts of the world who would just love to have that. We have way too much food here in the states and there's no telling how much of it gets wasted! I can't afford to waste food with the kind of income I'm living on. I used to do volunteer work at the local hospital and I worked in dietary. I was told that if a patient won't or can't eat the food for any reason, they don't have any choice but to throw it out! I thought that is terrible! Kathy.
