How much do you tell about your life on mylot? Every innermost thought???

I often find it intriguing on here the amount that people discuss about their lives some of which is incredibly personal. Whether it be family problems, death and bereavement, kids, opinions, thoughts, emotions, illnesses etc, I find some of it quite shocking. I'm not picking on anyone, or judging anyone but I don't think I could discuss the latest upset in my marriage or details of an argument with the world! I try to keep discussions I start more generalised but I see that a lot don't. What about you? x

Personally I try not to reveal that much about myself on myLot or anywhere on the net to be honest. This is purely down to the fact that a few years ago something I shared online came back and bit me in the butt when I had forgotten I had even said it. But that is my personal choice and if people are comfortable with revealing and sharing innermost parts of their lives with others then there is no reason why they shouldn't.

When you aren't face to face with someone; there tends to be more openness. Having to look someone in the eye & tell them someone is cheating on them may be difficult. (just an example of a personal issue) But typing it out for a "stranger" to comment on is easier. It's psuedo-counseling without any emotional ties to the counselor.

I think there is no harm in revealing our every secret here because we havent been meeting here each other too much nor we are that offensive towards someone elses personal life as far as i know i havent yet discussed too much about my life and personal things but i woudl do it very soon, if i feel like.but i think many of us do it and yes they really get the best responses here.

I think mylot is a good way to release one's emotions, problems, anxieties, personal issues and stuff. and it really is interesting how people are so open and eager to share their life stories.
