I think most people eat a lot more than they need to. And that´s why they are overweighed. I´m dieting now after putting on 20 pounds for the first time in my adult life after I quit smoking. In two months I have 4 pounds less with no effort.
My breakfast is usually a cup of coffee with milk. Nothing else, no sugar.
I eat a bit of cheese or half an avocado at midday and then at lunch I do veggies, raw and cooked. I don´t spare fried onions as I love them. I eat a small qualntity of bread with jam or cheese at tea time with more coffee. Dinner is late for me. It can be a big sanswich if I´m alone or a wonderful meal with apetizers and drinks if I have company.
The only food I have tried to cut a bit is mayo and fried foods. I´m hoping to be at my usual weight in around 4 months.
How about you? Are you trying to lose some weight? How?

i've just started with a diet and exercise regimen. I'm doing a dance exercise thrice a week. I've started on drinking oolong tea, it's said to have fat burning compounds. I usually wake up at around noon so i get to eat two large meals instead of three, brunch and dinner. :) i hope you get your desired weight and size:)

I hope so too. I would have a lot more clothes if I weighed what I did last year.. I hope your diet works too. Take care

Good luck with young plan to lose weight my dear friend. My baby is due to be born next week and so after that I will try to get back to my normal weight. I think in addition to a healthy diet exercise is great. So I am going to do walking twice a day and swimming once a week. I eat lots of salad and fruit. The fatty things I eat are nuts. I drink pure fruit juice and water. It is wise to eat dinner about four or five hours before bed time. That way the body can deal with the food. Maybe you could plan to have your dinner earlier. Hug.

Congratulations, friend! I´ll be sending good energy to you and the baby. As I am too lazy to walk and Lola is too strong and young to be a dog companion, I am listening to music of my time (VERY oldies) and dancing while doing the housework. It also helps my state of mind. The music I hear is exercise as I belong to the early rock generation.

Assuming a passive life with little phyiscal exercise, you need at least 50 grams a protein a day. The only place you store protein is in muscle. The foods you listed are low in protein. Everything your body does requires protein. Take care.

Don´t worry about protein in my case, my friend. And thanks for your thoughtfulness. My sandwiches are usually little bread, a steak or some chicken or turkey, tomatoes, green beans (french cut), sweet red pepper and green hot pepper (chile). Not always I eat sandwichs. And I eat plenty of salmon and other fish. Besides the milk and the cheese of course.
As I say, I´ll never die of hunger

sometimes you needn`t care your weight too much as it is normal.
i would support your planning for weight loss.by controlling the diet scientific and go on with doing sport,i think you can achieve the goal.
but in the opposite side, you treat yourself so strictly that would make you miss some delicious food.isn`t it
