I really adore Sam Cooke's version of They Call the Wind Mariah! It is neat to hear Sam perform a country song but in his own way. His vocal fluctuations and nuances have never been more superb. They lyrics are so sweet, pretty, melancholy and somewhat kind of fun too. Luckily thanks to the many online music streaming sites and youtube I was able to hear the song. I don't think that I would have any other way. I'm not the wealthiest person out there and due to the rarity of such tracks, I doubt that I could afford them any other way. Luckily, I am able to experience the joy of Cooke's music thanks to the internet and find some, probably, hard to find music performances. Especially since a lot of songs and albums by Cooke have yet to be released. Has anyone seen the film it is from Paint Your Wagon Red?
