Hi all,
Will you donate money to a website if the information is very helpful? I saw that there are quite many website with Paypal donation button or "Buy Me A Coffee" button. Some website will list the donors and amount donated but some don't.
Do you have a website asking for donation? How much donation have you received?
I have never donate to any website.

I don't own such a website myself, but I've donated several times, as there are websites that give you a great service, and not only you want them to continue giving this service for free, but also I found the admins more than deserve my financial gratitude (usually their service made me more money than what I donated).
You should make sure the cause is just, and that there's a real contribution before you donate - and this is what the donation buttons are all about : you give money to the person as much as you appreaciate the service you have been given.

Hi,
Can you give me examples of information that is so helpful that it earns you more money than what you donated? Can I have the website links to the website where you donated? I like to read such useful information. Yup, I agree that some websites have really attractive information. On the other hand, some websites have limited information but they are asking for monetary rewards.

Well... this is one site to donate to : trumot.co.cc/freedomains
They give you free domain names to use. By donating to this website, you keep the service free + you get some previlages.
There are many more websites like developers' websites, who develope applications and ask only a donation for their efforts. I can't remember their websites right now, but I'll post them as soon as I'll find them again.

I never know that we can donate money to a website, I didn't observe that at all in any of the websites. Well if I had enough money then I'll think about it but I believe there won't be anyone who have donated to websites rather taking money for the work done (like earn part time jobs) ;)

Hi,
Ya there are quite many websites asking for donation. The donation button may be a "Paypal" button. I have only donated to "United Nations World Food Programme" through Paypal as I think this is where the real needy are.
