I have started teaching this semester and remembered who my favorite teachers and professors where. Now I am wondering if these kids/students would consider me their favorite when this semester is over? Or perhaps they'd consider me their worst nightmare? hahaha..
Anyhow, do you recall you favorite teacher/professor? What was in him/her that made you like him/her as your teacher?

Oh yes I do! Mr Capariccio. He was my fifth grade teacher. He was the typical italian guy. He would wear bell bottoms with the silk shirts unbuttoned revealing the hairy chest. He had the curly perm. Mind you this was 1979. He was awesome! He taught us as if he were teaching each one of us individually. He made us all feel special. He taught us about Venice. I still remember how he loved Judy Garland and GLitter. He would always tell of his friend. Years later I realized he was gay. lol I loved him. He went to the winter olympic games at lake Placid, NY. When he came back he told us about as if we were there. I love that guy! He doesnt realize how much he impacted my life. Mr Cappariccio if you are out there, THANKS. You were the best. You made me feel important. He ended up leaving at the end of the year and me and another girl couldnt stop crying. He called us at home that evening to make sure we were okay. WHat a guy! dl

Hmmmm,
When i was little, i loved one of my big sisters teachers. She was really friendly. Every day when i went to get my sister from school with my mum i would run to this teacher and she would pick me up and give me a hug. I guess that wouldnt be allowed these days, so many regulations!
My favourite teacher again when i was little was the teacher i had in my first proper year of school. I know my friends liked her aswell. We sat out on the field one lunch time making her a daisy chain. We were late in but we were so happy that we had made her a present! We were her first ever class, so i guess she was quite scared. Although we must have been a good experience for her since she is still teacher today over 10 years later and is now the deputy head of the school!
And in secondary school, i liked my english teacher a bit. We always used to complain about going to her lessons, but now i have left i remember things she said and certain lessons so she must have made some impact on me. She was quite strict if we were missbehaving or forgot homework or anything. But generally she was quite laid back, and friendly and treated everyone as equals. I think she was a very good teacher too

My favorite teacher was Mr. Stafford and it is funny because almost everyone hated. I think it was because he was hard but I also found him to be fair and caring. If something was wrong he would ask if you wanted to talk. Not many teachers cared in that way.
I also had another one Mr. Rillings who I had for 1st grade and he ended up being our principle. He was just a really nice guy and he became our principle and although he could still hand out the punishments he also would listen totally to both sides.

My favorite teacher was one I had in high school. Her name was Annie Jo Cowart. She was my favorite teacher because she always pushed us to be the best we could be, and she always let us know she cared about us by the way she treated us.

I don't think my pupils like either. I'm too cold. Hahahah, I know that. My a favourite teacher is a teacher that remember me and treated me nicely. When I was in high school, teachers only give attention to the pupils they like but there is one teacher who treated me nice even though only after I finish my school. She is very outspoken, but I'm glad she remember me. WHile in university, my favourite lecturer is a guy who kept called my name and remember me. Well, he is tough when marking, but he is very knowledgeable and great lecturer. i miss him

There is no my favorite teacher, but my mom thinks I should say thanks to one teacher because she is quite strict to me, then I can write good-looking characters now.for me,I hate one teacher very much. She was my English teacher in the middle school, and she thought I was not a good student, because I often chatted with my classmates on her class. Once she said that why I could get high score in the class, then I was very angry because she means I am a cheator.
It is happy to find a good teacher in the student period.

Teachers are the persons we owed our knowledge most. In my elementary and high school, i have favorite teacher and i can still remember their faces.
I love the way my grade 1 teacher teach because i can easily understand in her teachings and explanations. She guide us and patiently teach us in English that even during that time she was about to left the school because of maternity leave. She keeps on smiling in times there were naughty classmates in the classroom.
In my high school, i love my English teacher. You can understand her explaination and she was a kind of a respected teacher because of her strict but friendly attitude and knew how to make a joke and be serious. She can entertain the class while teaching.
In my college i love my Theory of Flight and Management instructor because of his sense of humor but strict attitude. He can make a joke when the classes start and not kind of bored instructor. He has a good quality of voice that even if you are sitting at the back and outside noise, you can still understand and hear what he is saying. I love also the way he give examination.

My favourite teacher was my R.E teacher when I was in secondary school. Her name was Mrs Patel and she was a lovely welsh woman. Our group who was doing R.E G.C.S.Es was only a small group I think there was just 8 of us all together. As long as we got our work done and finished on time we were allowed to do more or less what we liked within reason. If she had had her way we would have been allowed to call her by her first name. She was always a good laugh and I use to enjoy her lessons very much.

ah yes Mrs Janet Patterson.. she was my English teacher. She was so passionate about English Literature. She was Irish and she is the reason I can speak fluent English today. She made her lessons so interesting and though I hated going to school and school in general, I always enjoyed her class. She treated us more like her kids than her students. She was an Irish white teacher, teaching a bunch of us black kids during the apartheid times when racism was rampant. She definitely played a role in my life in bringing unity amongst all races. At least she gave a good picture of you white boys and girls!

I am a high school student now and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Sacks. She is my global history teacher. She listens to your questions. She explains things until she is blue in the face if she has to. She acts like one of the students at the same time we all know she is the teacher.
