Any Canon 1000D user here? How do you like your DSLR? Any tips to better use it?

I bought my own Canon 1000D last year and so far, I have been producing quality photos. But I have yet to fully maximzie its features to my advantage. Any tips from from people adept at using DSLRs there? I want to learn various photo effects, any resources you could share with me? Will appreciate your help very much. :)

I do not have usefully ,Idid not know ,but I want to be may ,such photographs I am to think that some places should improve ,I already listened to several friends to say like this !
