Hi jhe, today is 21st of June. It’s also the 3rd Sunday of the month. People in my place here do celebrate this happy occasion, father’s day happily. My son came back last night from his working place. My husband was really happy to see his son again. We had lots of stories to share with one another until late in the night.
He invited us to the nearby restaurant, the Olden Town Restaurant to have lunch. We ordered nasi lemak (coconut milk rice) and chicken curry, and clay pot honey chicken rice. Yeah, we took the famous white coffee of that outlet at the same time. After finishing the lunch we enjoy eating the desserts we brought along. Yeah, my son had bought half dozen of doughnuts of different flavors and decorations as well from his place. Though the celebration is simple it’s still an unforgettable remembrance
Happy father's day!

We celebrated father's day with our relatives, like we always do. Since my dad is just like a dad to all of my cousins ( their dad passed away at an early age).. This year though, we celebrated on our tito's house, whose wife just passed away around a month ago. We are glad he's doing okay now. We had a lot of good food, ( my tito is a cook ), and we had a lot of laughs, cause we rummaged through his stacks of old photos.. it was really fun. =)

Every year we do something different for my dad. Sometimes we will do the great big family BBQ for the daddies in the family. But this year I think it will be pretty laid back and simple. Dad's not feeling well so we will see how he feels tomorrow and we will take him out to our favorite Chinese Restraunt for dinner.

My father is in Manila with my brother and i am here with my mom in our hometown so we didn't really celebrate. We just greeted him through our phones. I guess he is at home right now relaxing since it's the weekend. I do hope they're having a great time there. My friend is a first time dad and i think this is his first Father's Day. I didn't greet him though lol!

Hello,jheLaichie!
That's cool you can celebrate it with your dad and mom.I'm still in school now, which is far away from home.I just sent a short message to my dad to wish him happy. That's what I can do now.Obviously,it's not enough.I'll make up when I get home. The festival is supposed to remind me the great love from dad.Bless my dad and mom!Wish them happy and healthy!

Right now it is Father's day here close to 3PM in California. We are spending time at home, we have a swimming pool in our backyard so everyone is there at this time. I already had my time of swimming and just relaxing at the moment. Now speaking of father's day in the Philippines, I have celebrated father's day in Bicol during that time, but it was my uncle's time that celebrated. We had so much people in one house, the food, the parties, the drinking and of course videoke. Now celebration of father's day can take the whole day and then more that people would throw a celebration with a mini fiesta around the town area. You know exactly what I mean. So yeah so far it is going great, the weather is nice, it is sunny, but not so hot. Nothing like having a summer breeze. Well I hope you all had a good time yesterday celebrating with your dad. Take care

Hi, it is so nice that you can celebrate father's day together with all your family members and had fun. For me, since i'm currently working at outstation, where the place i currently staying is very far from my hometown, i'm unable to make it to go back and celebrate with my father and other family members. So what i do today is i just contacted my dad and wished him have a happy father's day. Wish that he will stay healthy and happy always. I hope that i will have the chance to celebrate every festival with my family members in the future.

Happy Fathers day to all the dads out there! Today we we're only supposed to stay home and celebrate it at home since my son was sick with a fever. But to my dismay we ate out in a restaurant nearby called 'Conrads' with my in-laws. That was the first celebration for Fathers day. The next one is for dinner, my mother in-law cooked as well as other in-laws and we all ate here at the house. We enjoyed a few chats with aunts and uncles of my husband. These are the times where we spend time with family and talk about not so important things just to past the time.

Well, my kids spent a couple of hours with their dad. I cooked dinner for my dad and took it over to his house. The kids put handprints on a grandfather shirt to take to his house.
