Ok so in my life time i've had both mutts and purebreds. I personally have found that the mutts tend to be healthier then the purebreds just because well... i don't honestly know why. Now i'm not saying that purebreds are disease infected dogs but lets look at my personal facts here ok?
1. My rhodesian ridgeback died of throat cancer at 6.
2. My sisters pitbull had hip dysplasia(sp?)
3. My dog, Tuarwen has never had anything wrong with her(yet), nor has our 7 year old lab x german shepherd.
So looking at those facts, and the fact that our purebred chow we had was just insane. She'd jump the fence and run head on into trucks driving past the house...yea.
I personally think that most mutts/mixed dogs are healthier then purebreds. Now i'm sure some of you have had mutts with cancer or the like..but thats just my personal experience. What about ya'll?

I like Mutt and Purebred very much,it looks very cute to see.I have two mutts at my home and these are similar to dogs.Everyday i take care about them and their food and diet.I usually watch in TV different purebred and dogs,Purebreds look very cute.I prefer these two dogs have more experience. So i think Mutt is better than Purebred.

I would have to say a mutt, only because purebreds have been found to have A LOT more health problems. Only because the breed started out family breeding with family. Obviously things would go wrong because it's just not right. Lol. However, if i had to pick to be able to own my dream dog, which is a Shiba Inu, I would want a purebred. Other than that, I would pick a mutt over a purebred any day.
