Some of the people i referred on mylot, they work on it for the next 2 or 3 days, but not that religiously, after seeing cent on their earnings, they then stop working on mylot and think that its a waste of time and that the money doesnt come that easy.
They have this perception that when you say earn money online, its easy, they dont know its not gonna be that easy and just like any other job, its takes a lot of hard work. I mean, here, you make any investment, you just hang out, post, have fun, learn more and get paid. it may not be that much, but at the end of the day, you still get paid for a little amount of effor you exerted being on the site. Hope thats what they think and be here.

Your money that you earn before camp will still be here when you come back, so whatever you earn it is all good. Plan on being active when you come back and have a wonderful time at camp.

well here is what i dont understand. a lot of people hang out on myspace and facebook and dont get a cent for it and dont even get to have answers to questions, collect tons of so called "friends" that they dont even know or communicate with. whats the fun in that? so why not mylot instead which is so much better?

Exactly! They hang out on those site and the site doesnt pay them. You can do the same thing on mylot and you get paid. That is one of the reason why i canceled my Friendster account.

Your observations are correct and it takes time to understand mylot.
I have been here for more than 2 years and I have enjoyed every bit of it. When I joined I did not know anything about such sites (totally blank). I initiatlly joined Yahoo answers, there I asked a question about similar sites, then somebody mentioned mylot. I joined mylot, however, initiatlly could not understand how it works or what I am supposed to do here. My earnings were also very low in the beginning, it would show '0.08 cents' even after few days. I gradully started working on the site, some very good friends got connected to me on my long journey to mylot. Those friends guided and suggested me how to move ahead and what to do to keep myself noticed here. I kept my nerves and started working accordingly as and when I would get time. Over the period, I have learnt a lot from mylot, as you have pointed out, I have come to know about some very useful information and knowledge and about some wonderful websites. Had I not been working here on mylot, I would not got the knowledge. My vision and thinking have broadened and I have become more positive, since I joined mylot. I feel that here on mylot with so many interesting discussion, each day is a learning day for me and till I am here, I'll continue to learn.

Yes, you are right. However, I feel 'Yahoo answers' has its own fun. I've found that some of the members over there write very very useful and quality responses, which sometimes I do not find on mylot. But again, at yahoo answers, there is no provision of making comments/counter-comments, where mylot scores over that site.

well yeah, there are other things that you can only see in yahoo answers..but if your up for posting and earning money, mylot is the answer. Yahoo answers only increase your level but there is no earnings. I sometimes visit yahoo answer when there are things i cant find here in mylot.

Ive been a member on mylot for 2 years now. ive been earning but some of my friends stayed in yahoo answers...were doing exactly the same..posting, the only difference is that im earning and they're not!

Really that is it is really a test of patience to stay here in Mylot. Online earnings are never easy. WE get paid 0.001 or 0.002 on some sites and we stick to it. That is why hard earned money is really important. I stay here in Mylot for the reason that I have found a second home here. I have met different people from different country and they had treated me nicely that is why I stayed. I even don't care now about my ratings, about the number of my post, the earnings. I just want to hang out it, and this is my first online opportunity so I will stick to it till the end.

I couldn't agree more. I still can't believe i made it this far. I had a lot of brush ins with fellow myLotters, lots of discussions deleted, lots of earnings decreased but still i'm here. If i wasn't patient enough, i could have quit earning online long ago. I just realized that, i might as well do something i like then earn than do something i like without earning. Earnings accumulated will be higher than imagined. I am on my sixth payout now and still no signs of slowing down. By the way, is that right hand, a man's hand reaching but the lady covered it with her left hand? Nice umm love can wait photo. lol1

I agree with this.......when i joined the online earning arena even i was under the same impression, but then as days passed by i found out that it does take time and patience to get something on the net.......I initially joined mylot just looking at the money factor, but then when i participated in the discussions i found it to be too good.....and i reached my payout(twice the amount of minimum) in just one month......that was really an achievement for me......and now i am about $4 short for my next payout.......patience and dedication is the key to success here in mylot......and as an advice i would like to add that if you don't enjoy your time here.....it will really be difficult to reach payouts for you.,......

When I started mylot 2 years ago I was been an observant and taking the risk of joining this site because this the first networking site that I ever join. At first I was for the earning I set a goal everyday to make at least 3 to 4 discussion and responds at least 50 discussion a day so that I can reach the minimum payout and test if mylot really pays. I was happy and surprised when I received my first payout and says that this site is a legit site that pays our effort. As I go on I gain more friends and more responses, advises and lessons, now I don't look forward to gain more earnings here but to have more friends and more topic to discuss and to learn from the true stories of my friends here.

Thats one thing i like here. When your in doubt and need to make a good decision, you post it here and you get replies from other people and most of it are based in their experience and some also post what happened and what they should have done. That way, you will be able to weigh your options.

I have only had two people believe me that making money online was something to do even for just a hobby. Even then it took me years to get one to put some effort into it. She finally loves it and is now addicted. Even after I show them that I am making money, and other people are making a living on some sites. They don't seem to be interested. I also know that some people are very leary of doing anything online.

Some of the people here at work is not doing it because for one its tediuos and 2nd, they wanted bigger money. Which isnt true on online earnings...but for us who's been here and quite know details about online earnings knows that money comes in by cents. But then, we just have to convince more.

Yes i will agree with you lots of new members not on active after the 1 or 2 days because the new commers don't know how to Earn good Money here they not done the discussions in the Best part of the Discussions on the first day.
It will make less amount of money that like $0.02 somethink i know my first day earning on my lot is $0.02 so they didn't want to continue this site because it's the waste of time we spent on it.
They need the Quality freiends Guideness will help to make Good Quality Discussions and they have only achieve the Good earning if they has large Friends on the Mylot.
It's that Mylot is really Difficult for the new members for earn they Need to Wait for few days how to Post the Good Quality Posts.
And my Opinion is Mylot is the Best Socialise Site for earning and Improve our knowledge by Taking part of the Active discussions.

I think that it's true writers that end up being the ones that stick around. People who are just looking to make a few bucks aren't going to want to put in the effort. I find it easy to make the money here... although it does take a while to build it up because I have such limited access to the internet. I really enjoy hanging out here and being paid for talking (which is something that I do quite well naturally ;)). The money is just really a bonus. It's never a lot but hey, every cent comes in handy on somedays. It all just goes into my PayPal account and from there it's onto ebay or I let my kids use it on their little sites. Mad money my mom would have called it :)

i think having active referalls will be difficult for every online earning opportunity available now on the net!!Because people think that normally they have some activity on a site and so they can earn big money but in reality is not like that...because before reaching your payout you should be really active and so you need much efforts to gain money online as in all activities in life..so nobody will give you money for nothing!!
As regards mylot is difficult because if people can understand it ..it is good and you can have an active refer but the majority will not understand this systm and so they think it is just a wasting of time...this i complicated!!In many cases fro some people have an enire activity in english and they are not native speakers will be much difficult and so they can loose much time to write a single post here and so they will quit soon!!
i always think that having active refs here as in all other systems you need a bit of fortune and so you can get some and your earning can grow as well...but this is not easy unluckly!!

People ought to realize that people can't make bigger earnings compared to one who makes paychecks working as an employee. It does take time and patience to get used to using Mylot. I can say also that some who join here either doesn't know how to use Mylot or just continue spending too much time to promote their other paid sites. When they wake up the next day to see their earnings they wonder why they only made $0.04 with so many posts they've made yesterday.
Now you are correct in what you said that it takes hard work. Like in my example, if I want a good set of earnings for my earnings, then the more information I can type in regard to a topic, place a photo related to the topic or even post my own discussions that contains valuable info that is not just a plain sentence. I see it as if people wanted to make a boost of earnings on Mylot, then compare it as those who make magazine articles for a living. And you know very well that articles are a page long or even more.
The way I see it as people on Mylot ought to realize that the shorter the discussions posted and the shorter the response will remain small earnings. But if those that want to try to make $1 or $3 off Mylot will realize the fact that it would take like almost the whole day to do that. Unless one is a fast typer, but still too time consuming.
You are also correct on the fact that Mylot is a place to have fun, meet new friend, learning other people's hobbies, interests, likes or habits. I also see that if people have a had time typing discussions based on their interests then should get advice or help on how to write articles. So that way, those type of people don't have to rant or complain about it.
In your case daryljane I'm glad you are enjoying Mylot and this topic is short, simple and has good pointers.

Thanks darkangel07.
I just got a new referral and she seems to be interested here in mylot like i do. So this is a start. I just have to give her more tips that this is not an easy online site where you earn millions. I made sure she knows that we need to post to earn and its not that big but its fun.
I just hope that people will realize that if u venture on joining online earnings, treat it like regular full time job, you get paid after your days work during payday. Not that much but its still money anyhow.

Totally agree. I was once one of them who worked on it for 2 or 3 days but stopped after feeling bored and not earning much. Several days later, I found that there's still something that attracts me in myLot. I like to post a discussion and see what's the reaction; I like respond to those topics that interest me and get views from the topic raiser. Maybe I shouldn't be influenced too much by how much money I have earned, but to focus on other things myLot is mainly to offer.

I admit i used to feel that way when i only few cents on my earning when i started here in mylot. I just have this very supporting up line that told me that it takes a lot of work. That boost my ego and worked till i got my first pay. But it was a long way before i first have my first pay alright. I took me more than 2 months i think.

HI myLot freinds,
I agree with the comments of "darylijane", who has rightly pointed out that all the earning depends on the hardwork, time put in by the individual. With adequate knowledge, one has to put the data which is useful to the myLot persons. it should be discussions and data intelligently putin the effort for getting work certainly in myLot.
