This is a real incident that happened in a local hospital in Bangalore, India. A 4year old girl was admitted due to leg fracture. As it was an open fracture, she had to undergo an operation to stitch the protruding bone back in place. Thoug it was quite a minor operation, she was hooked on to life support system, as a part of the process.. The doctors had to input some data prior to the operation to suit different conditions. Thereafter, the operation proceeded. Half way through the process, the life support system suddenly went dead.
The Culprit:- Someone was using his/her hand-phone outside the operation theatre. And the frequency had affected the system. They tried to track the fellow but to no avail. The little girl, young and innocent as she was died soon after..
"Be compassionate! Do not use your hand phones/mobiles especially at any hospitals or within the Aircraft or any places where you are told not to use it.. Sometimes it's a matter of life and death...!!!
Anyone has any bitter experiences felt or heard like these ones??
Take care:)

Wow.
A bit recently there was a lot of news coverage on a cellphone incident. User was on a voice call while the handset was attached to the charger and plugged in. The phone caught flame.
The phone manufacturer found out about the incident and traced the root of the problem to batteries--that particular batch was manufactured somewhere else, not at their usual manufacturing place. They ordered a recall and refund of all batteries in that batch and brought out another set of precautions, though if others follow I really don't know.

Oh mine!! That's sad. I always knew that the radio waves used in transmission intercept with those circuits. But, I never heard of such unfortunate incident, and its very rare.
Whenever I travel in plane, I generally call someone when the flight's about to take off, but after reading this, I would avoid keeping my cellphone on.
Thanks for info man.

All new invention of modern society is good, but at the same time time it is creating lot of problems to us.I think it is better to control and limit the usage of cell phones.Talking on cell phone would trigger headaches and migraines. Over time this became more and more pronounced.More and more studies are coming out finding that cancer, infertility, headaches, fatigue, ADD, and a host of other disorders can be caused or exacerbated by wireless energy.EMFs and RF energy emitted from wireless
and cordless phones is bad for your health.

It is very sad to hear that little girl's fate. She would have survived if that culprit abide by the etiquette of using cell phones. There should be a awareness program launched by the government for cell phone users. It is high time to do that as we are using more phones now a days.

Oh my!!!!That's so sad!!! I am not really aware that, that could happen, here in my place phones are everywhere mostly in hospitals due to emergcies, but i dont realy know and i haven't observed, maybe i really don't care because i seldom go to hospitals, i am afraid., i rarely notice the signboards. But now since i've read about that i will be more aware of things in my place.
I used to see signs of no cellphone usage in gasoline stations sometimes i turn it off but seeing that even the driver smokes while having his gas, and someone texting or even calling, and nothing happened, i then ignored it. Well thank you for the information, i will be more careful and obedient to rules.
