Do you talk to your pets? If yes, what do you say?

Right now I have dogs, horses, cats and hens and I speak to them the same as I speak to child, who was too shy to speak back.

I talk to my cats all the time. Josie who is my boss is told how wonderful she is. I say thank you to her when she wakes me up and when she tells me it's time for her to eat. I tell Paisley how adorable she is. I commend Arthur on his handsomeness. Peaches is encouraged to eat her breakfast or dinner and told that I love her and not to be afraid. I tell Josie tons of secrets, and she purrs.

I have a pomeranian dog and I call him 'Tikku'. He is very loveable. And I talk to him often. He gets very crazy when I talk to him in a high pitch. Telling 'cutie' , 'tikku' , 'naughty boy' etc names ,he gets very excited jumps all over and eventually grabs onto my shorts. He likes being fondled and scratched under his chin. He becomes very silent when he is scratched. He seems to understand a lot when we talk to him. Whenever he does anything wrong he instantly runs into his kennel even before we come to know of his deed. We have not given him any sort of dog training but he obliges to our commands so easily , except when he is so excited that he wants to be in company with us. He can judge the variation in our expression and if he feels that we are getting irritated he will back up and run for his shelter. He takes scoldings seriously and falls to ground and looks up pitiful as if saying ' i am sorry'. He is not the emotional one always. He is very aggressive for his breed and he may go for a bite if any stranger trespasses. I have another dog . An alsatian , called 'Bruno'. He is coming from a breed that is known for it's intelligence but he never lives to honour his breed. He is the clumsy , scared and funny . For a dog his size he sure is an exception. He may give a scare for a lot of newcomers to my home. But if they get any further he will just sprint away . He is not aggressive or protective. Once I came home late and it was pretty dark. And in the distance I could see his silhoutte .I thought he would bark and come forward. But when I made a few paces front he just turned and ran. He went to his kennel. It was a humourous incident. He is the Scooby doo in the family. Only he is not a Great Dane. But he obeys the commands and responds to calls . He will not stay too long to hear us out. He is the impatient kind. He is very licky kind of dog. He likes to lick all the time. So I don't speak to him a lot because soon I will get drenched and have to head for a bath. But it is a fun time with him. I got love birds too who get a good share of my thoughts. But I chirp with them most of the time rather than in intelligent talk.

Yes!! I do talk to pets...If it is a parakeet, then you will have to talk with it,because it will talk with you... Parakeets imitate a human call sometimes...I have a dog as my pet.He is quiet funny...When ever I say him Hello,he put forward one of his front leg and we have hand shake.
