Can you tell me a effective way to improve my english listening?

For me to improve more on listening with the English language, it would be good to watch alot of different movies so that you can hone your skills with the cmoon english words spoken everyday. You will also learn new words and at the same time you may enjoy the movie while learning. You may want to read enlish books. There are alot of ebooks online that you can read, learn while enjoying it as well. Another thing I could think of is to hang out with a good friend of yours who is good in english. That would definitely help you with your skills in english.

It doesn't have to be CNN news, any type of audio in English language will do. I think it work best with songs. Edutainment always help. Everytime you listen to an English song, why don't you try to song/pronounce it as well. Also, try to understand the meaning. If you listen to it a lot and understand the words, eventually you'll be able to get the grip of the meaning.

I know a lot of people who have learned another language by watching children's television shows. These shows are designed to teach children the meaning of words, so they work very well for adults trying to learn a new language too!

CNN isn't the only option you have. try to watch other english shows that interests you... or try listening to english songs you like... :) that can be a good start. the lyrics of a song is easier to memorize. good luck. :)

I was facing the same problem.. when every i watched English movie.. i can't able to get the meaning.. but now i can easily understand thier words and meaning.. Please watch as many as english movies.. so that you can able to undertant what they said.. I use to watch many english movie in my laptop.. and when i can't understand i just revised and listen again.. so that after i understand the movie.. and this only help me to understant the english..
