The best gift I ever gave my parents was a golf cart, because they lived on 10 acres of property, were elderly and needed something other than their car to use when checking the mail or running next door to visit the neighbors. My parents were so very happy. A golf cart is so easy to operate, and they are a fun way to get around. The cart I picked out for them had a thick vinyl surrounding cover for rainy days. On sunny days it was rolled back. Thanks for asking.

I had bought the golf cart back in 1993, and back then it was exactly $1,000.00. Back then I could afford it. I can't imagine what the price of one would be today, in this economy especially. My dad didn't like golf, but he sure used that cart at home a lot. Thanks

On my boyfriends 27th birthday, I really have no enough money to buy him something special. I asked him is there something he really wanted to have for his birthday so I could raise funds for it. He answered something which I made all by myself. I thought of cooking something for him and in order to have enough money for my planned gift I sorted out all the things I have in my house, so that I could sold the things that I don't need in the junk shop. Luckily I raised a lot of money from selling my old things, I immediately went to the supermarket to buy ingredients for the food that I am going to prepare. I cooked spaghetti with meatballs, tuna and sausage pizza, fried chicken and brownies. After I packed everything I told him to meet me at a park for a picnic. He was teary eyed when he saw what I prepared for him because he is planning to treat me out fo dinner in an Italian restaurant for pizza and pasta. He even told me that wa the best birthday present he received ever.

that is so sweet cathy :) I would be really touched if I have received something like that for any occassion :)
I love cooking as well but it'll be really nice if I get to just sit down and eat my partner's cooking for a change. ;)

The best thing that I gave a friend of mines was a rack of clothes that I no longer wore. They were still new and I didn't just want to get rid of them. At the time my friend didn't have any money and she was in dire need of some clothes before she went home for summer break. So I told her that she could have all of my clothes that I don't wear plus they were still new and she really appreciated it a lot.
