I have two miniature poodles that I love dearly. Secret is unusual looking because he is white with black patches. Most poodle breeders only like solid colors. Magic is plain black so she is usual looking.
I notice that some poodle breeders are breeding a poodle with another breed. It can often make a non moulting breed. Labradoodles are a poodle crossed with a labrador. A goldendoodle is a poodle crossed with a golden retriever. A Schnoodle is a poodle crossed with a schnauzer. A bichonoodle is a poodle crossed with a bichon frise. A cockapoo is a poodle crossed with a golden cocker spaniel.
What do you think of a mix between two breeds of dog?

I think it's great. My last dog that I still miss was the best dog I have ever had, and he was a mix between a Great Dane and a Dalmatian.

Since early days man has always mixed dogs to obtain special traits. That is how we got so many different breeds out of the wolf. They are now breeding what the market
wants and none shedding dogs are nice to have.
