The leader of the Holy Catholic Church has declared itself perfect as he is guided by the Holy Spirit when it comes to making decisions which are spiritual in nature. Place name and discuss the various errors, sins, mistakes that the Popes in the past have made from the first Pope - Peter the Disciple, to the most recent one. Site mistakes that made a huge impact in the world or in the Church in itself.

Yes, that's true. The pope is infallible when it comes to speaking out on issues of faith and morals., in other words, when he speaks ex cathedra., which is not that often. This is not to say that he is a perfect human being, however. He makes mistakes just like other human beings do. There have been popes who have been lazy, there have been popes who have been downright avaricious, there have been lustful popes. There is no mistaking it.
If you want to know more about what infallibility is, here's a good site to go to:

Name some specific examples, besides what you think the Inquisition did.
