Why Is It Our Responsibility?

United States

I'm looking for some feedback today trying to understand why so many (mostly republicans) in the United States feels its our "business" or "responsibility" for our President to say anything or do anything about what is currently going on in Iran. For crying out loud, we've had our own revolution just as nearly every other country has on the planet. Iran has overthrown their own government more than once before and can do it again. My feeling is that our President is saying and doing exactly as he should. Keeping quiet and focusing as he should on the current problems in our own country. I don't understand what makes some people think that it is his duty or responsibility to do anything or say anything about Iran or any other country for that matter. Maybe because of some of the idiots that we've had in office in the past.. i am not sure. What are your thoughts on this mylotters?
