what does boredom do to you?

A lot. it makes me sleep a lot. at home. when i get bored on what i do online. i tend to take a nap. which can last 3 hours long. anyways, i am a stay at home person, i do research online to learn html, css and anything that is worth learning. So basically, what i want to do here is to know what are the things that you do online to beat your boredom off and makes your time useful. What are the things are worth learning for a person like me. What do you think i will want to consider learning. as of now besides html and css, i am learning how to improve my english. and well i am learning to type more while posting. i want to be a good writer so hope that i get to learn it here while being active on mylot. Mostly if i want to learn something i don't know any site except youtube. besides google of course. i do watch tutorials on youtube a lot. like cooking, and etc. but not everything is helpful. some i still don't find any site to learn it from. So what are the cool things online to learn for free. Cause i have lots of time to focus my time on learning. And besides that, i am focusing or spending a little bit more time on having daily amount of exercise besides sitting in front of the computer the whole day. Anyways, i am trying to learn how to add good original content to my blog. Until now , i have not found my niche to which i should focus my content of my blog. WIsh that someone could guide me how to discover my niche .
