Though Kizzmo said we can listen to two people at the same time but that is not true. There is a difference between hearing and listening. when you hear you hear lots of sound coming from the surrounding areas and hence this is involuntary but when we listen we pay particular attention to a single object or person and this is voluntary. You could listen to a person while you hear a hell of different sounds.

I believe we can of course listen to two speakers at the same time however we will definitely not be able to understand both very perfectly. We might feel that we have understood but in reality we might confuse ourselves if ever we combine the two output together while explaining what we have infact understood.
