Kidnap that woman and force her to live in poverty as the world sees it. Oooo, she will wrinkle her nose and hold the hanky to her mouth. Some people are b****es. She should be ashamed, after all that she has looted from your country. Wish I could kick her in her a*s. If she is living in poverty, then may all the poor be like her.

I guess compared to the life that she used to live when she was the first lady, she would probably feel that she is now living in poverty. But if she was to compare herself to the millions that do not even have a decent salary for 3 meals a day, then she would probably realize that she is a lot more well-off than most of our population.

LOL I think the threshold of poverty changes with the economic condition of the person concerned. So though to you and me, she can never live in poverty, she might think she is poor if she can no longer afford those designer clothes and shoes and accessories and unlimited luxury she was used to.

If Imelda Marcos is in poverty then i'm in what? ultra mega poverty? lol! I guess she's has a pretty high standard for being poor. Well first off, she really should be in poverty because all her jewels are ill gotten wealth so we should be at least richer than her. lol! I guess her awa effect just don't work anymore in the 2000s.

she claims she has to withdraw money from the pension of former president marcos's pension to enable her to travel. imagine that crap! i wonder how much is the pension of former marcos. and i certainly do not believe in this, what happened imee and bong bong marcos ? are they going to allow the ever glamorous and fabulous imelda in poverty? come to think of she is wearing a 3 carat solo diamond ring when she said this to her interview? my God, i am earning almost 80thou a month but i can never afford to buy a 3 carat diamond ring

Oh well, that is really an understatement. From her TV interview you could just see how beautiful her sala set and the dress that she wear during the interview doesn't show that she is indeed suffering from poverty at all. I cannot believe that she was saying that.

Really? So being restricted to travel abroad once a week, living in one of the best hotels in Makati and dining in the finest restaurants in the country is the new definition of poor nowadays? So Imeldefic. I think we have to bring her in Payatas to the garbage collectors and all over Metro Manila in the squatter areas for knock sense to her.

No way..., who will ever believe that Imelda Marcos is on poverty? Having an eye check up done in Singapore? Still able to put on make up to her face and wear designer clothes,,, if this is being poverty then what do you call those living in slums and nothing to eat?., She is really funny.

That claim is totally ridiculous. It is a known fact that they have siphoned the wealth of the Philippines in all 20 years that they have been in power. We do all know that they have Swiss-bank accounts. Even if some of those ill-gotten wealth have been repossessed by PCGG, I strongly believe that they still have those wealth somewhere hidden.

Yes she said that on a TV news, but i don't think so. . . i think it's just a bluff so that she can go outside Philippines for medical purposes with no penalties(money). I think she's just shy to borrow money from her sons/daughters that's why she said that. Government should remove that penalty already from Imelda Marcos cause it's been a lot already. . . just my opinion... ^^

I don't believe that she is living in poverty. Well, check if her son and daughter, Bong and Imee cant suport her. And I'm trying to think in what level does she mean of 'living in poverty'. Try to compare it with our fellow kababayans who only eats one or even none each day or living along streets or worst, homeless.
