getting paid for online writing

Im looking for a site that offers writing jobs. I dont know which are good and legitimate. Any recommendations?
i came across www.writeandgetpaidtoday.com owned by a guy named bill purkins. it sounds promising and legit. i have yet to sign up though. i read in a forum that some sites sometimes ask for your SSN.
Im not a US citizen but i worked in the US before so i do have one. However, i dont wanna give it out. Although i do understand that you have to provide it if you're already earning a large sum of money.
if you have any experience in online writing, please do share.

I just joined the site about which u have talked about.There's nothing to worry about the SSN. Just fill only the field which denoted with asterisk. I too left the SSN field blank. But I was able to create the account. As soon as I created the account there, I am responding your discussion.

Well, I would recommend associatedcontent.com. It is legitimate site and it has paid me $10 for 5 posts. I have posted a few poems and a short story there. You can earn a good amount of money from this site.

There is no need of SSN for writing sites. I know Helium and they never asked for it. They pay high amounts. If the site asks for SSN, they will be paying only for US residents. You need to check the FAQ on that matter before signing up for sites.

Good to know you like writing. Writing is my hobby too. I like writing online, and here is a program I have been with for some time now, and I am very happy with it. It is "Review Stream". Here, one can write brief reviews about a variety of topics (you will see it on their website), things you come across in your day-to-day activities. This is a legit program, and I have been paid.

I too write online and have been doing so for over a year. I am not rich but i do have spending money. Associated content is one of my favorites as is helium. however there are other great writing sites out there, for instance triond is a great fun site, that I love. xomba is another along with article income. I have a few more with higher earning potential and if you are interested just pm me. Have a great day.

If you're looking for an online market place where they offer writing jobs and you do the job there then some places I would recommend is ODesk (which has a large community) and PayPerPost. You can search them up for yourself. The membership is free and you notice that I didn't post any referral links because I don't want them to lose their credibility just because of that.
If you do find a really good place aside from those two, please do share again here on myLot so everybody else would know.
