I love to crochet! I almost always have a project going while I watch TV. I crochet hats, mittens and scarves all year round and then donate them to the Salvation Army or Goodwill at Christmas time, and I crochet children's clothing and accessories throughout the year that I donate each Semptember. I just recently found this really simple but really pretty pattern for a snowflake bookmark. They make nice tree decorations as well (without the tail) and they only take 15 minutes at the most to complete!

crochet hooks - crochet hooks
I learned to crochet when I was a little girl, and I've been doing it ever since. My grandmother taught me. She always used to say it kept her fingers nimble, and helped keep her arthritis in check. Now that I'm older, I find it's true! I like doing afghans, scarf and hat sets, doilies, and occasionally I'll do baby sets (hats, jacket and booties.) I'm glad to hear that there's still people who enjoy crocheting. It's a nice relaxing past time, and you always have something nice when you're done!

oh i wish I could make all those. So far I've only made 3 baby hats and started a blanket...that I fear will never get finished. Where do you get your patterns..I am having the worst luck finding patterns.

I learned to crochet when I was twelve,a long time ago. I just made an outfit for my niece,a deep pink skirt and ruffled shrug. I love to crochet,my Grandmother taught me how, and I am looking forward to teaching someone in the next generation.

Blankie I made for my son - I made this while preggo with my son.
Yes, I love to crochet and also learned when I was pregnant with my son. I guess we get the mothering instinct and want to make something for our babies.

I used to crochet doilies and very detailed lacy things but now I just to afghans. I don't bother doing anything very fancy and just use leftover yarn that has been given to me usually. The kids love to snuggle up in them and don't care if they are beautiful or not!

I haven't done it for a few months now. But I've been crocheting since I was young, my grandma taught me. :)

I love to crochet. I taught myself how to do it last year after we moved here. I have already made a sweater and a bunch of hats for the baby and some clothes for the girls' dolls. I also knit, which I taught myself to do a couple summer ago. I really enjoy doing both (but I like crocheting the most). I find it very relaxing and satisfying.
