It is very important for me to make some great memories with my children. I also tend to take a ton of picture of them when we are doing things.
My favorite memory as a child was going camping, we were by no means rich, however we took a vacation every summer and it normally was centered around camping. We would load up the camper, (pop up) and head to the mountains, no televisions, no radios, just playing outside, swimming, bike rides, and bone fires.
I just took my children camping for the first time and plan to do it every summer. There is nothing like getting back to nature.

Camping is definately one of my favourite childhood memories. It is such a relaxing environment in outback Australia and camping was a yearly tradition for my family. At first we did it tough - no electricity or running water etc, but nowadays we do have the luxury of solar power & flashier equipment like a portable toilet & camping fridges.
Next year I am planning on taking my children (who will be aged 1 & 2 at the time) for the first time & I hope they will enjoy it as much as I used to (& still do!).
