If you're a blogger who also does sponsored posts or runs graphical link ads, you should know that the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) is now going to start monitoring all blogs to make sure that they are in compliance with the law. Basically, they object to reviews written for pay that aren't disclosed as such.

Some pay-to-post sites do require in-post disclosure but not all do. If you write paid posts, are you worried about continuing to blog these kinds of posts now that the government is watching?

I don't write paid reviews anymore but I do place my affiliate links in my posts. Still this doesn't affect me because I made a disclaimer page and placed the link to my disclaimer page in the footer of my blog. It is really simple to go by the rules. Nobody should be worried about this unless their doing something wrong.
