Traffic Exchange advises using splash page to avoid ban by Google

This is the message posted in traffic exchange, easyhits4u: "Some bloggers have started to cancel their EasyHits4U accounts because of the recently added short warning about Google AdSense ads below our site submission form. But why? As you probably know, receiving impressions of your Google AdSense ads from any traffic exchange is against Google AdSense Policy and may even result in cancellation of your Google AdSense account. Obviously, this doesn't affect neither your site PageRank, nor your site position in Google search results. In our opinion, Google had to add this restriction because they do not like autosurf traffic exchanges and they just have no time or intention to distinguish reputable manual traffic exchanges from autosurfs (pretty hard task, actually). So what's the solution then? Simple, easy, and yet effective — promote splash pages for your blog, in case if it contains Google Adsense ads. This will help you to not only avoid cancellation of your Google AdSense account, but also you can get new subscribers to your blog from these splash pages. Obviously, that's even better than random readers which visit your blog only during their surfing. We are going to create our own splash making service soon for all our members. In the meantime, you can create your own splash pages with any graphics software, or using the TEToolbox or Splash Page Maker programs." What on earth is splash page? Can anyone explain how using splash page can prevent Google from cancelling the account when using traffic exchange? By the way, easyhits4u offer Text Ad option, and banner impressions. Will using either option violate Google Adsense TOS? I do not dare to use traffic exchange for blogs now, use only to advertise my bookstore in lulu.com, which fortunately allows traffic exchange

Hello Scheng!!! After the suggestion I got previously, I have already canceled the easyhits4u account. I think that was the wise idea. There is actually no real benefit of using the site. People just open the site and do their own tasks in the other tab. Its totally useless. At first I did the same thing with easyhits4u hehe... I too wonder what actually is splash page is? I don't have any idea about it. May be someone experienced will give nice response on this....I will also keep in touch... happy mylotting...

That's easy, treat Hubpages as a blog, and write 2,000 words article. My best hub is about 3,000 words. That was actually my coursework for university subject. obviously you can't write so much in a day, so you have to split the writing across a few days. Maybe 400 words in a day, and another few hundred words the next day. Write about your country, about your life, as long as the word Nepal comes out often enough, the search engine will bring in traffic.

A splash page is simply a page that links to your blog or site. You don't even have to use a splash page maker. Simply sign up for a free blog anywhere. Put a nice description about your site or offer a free ebook or software and opt in form and when the person opts in, they can visit your site. If you prefer, you can simply add a link on the page that says, 'Visit my site' and that is a splash page.
