Passing English In SPM then Pass the entire Exam?

Would you agree that if we pass one subject in an exam we pass the whole examination which consist of 10 papers?I think that is not really a good thing as it is not very fair and systematic.What if some student are totally good in English and bad at other subject,they just passed like that and what if other student who are good in the other nine subjects and they got A for all 9 subjects and failed English,which means they failed.It is so unfair don't you think so?

yes,I think so.I think everybody are not good at everything,but must good at they interest'thing.As one student,I know what is meaning of the exam.If you fair in the exam,then you will face the parents and teachers 's blame.I think teacher and parents should see students's advantage and encourage them.

exactly, when you can do well in 9 and can never pass 1, that doesnt show that you are not good at all but just the grades and preferences after all...
