A few weeks ago our next door neighbor told me that her condo was infested with Ants. Two days ago the ants marched in on us, and to make things worse my vacuum cleaner has a broken belt. I'm waiting for the belt to come in the mail from dyson. So what am I to do... icky. I sprinkled baby powder on the floor, but now they are climbing up on the couch to get away. HELP!!! Have you ever had a problem with aunts? What did you do?

could you try the powder on the couch and other places? not sure about the powder. i usually just put ant hotels next to the places they're coming in and try and keep everything they eat put away or out.

im not sure how to explain it. here they have an ant motel things you buy and set around. there small things with little wholes. the ants go in and get some kind of stuff on their feet and carry it to the nest and it kills the nest. thats all i know.

probably not. id say hide them up under something so the ants just find them.

It is also my problem at the store. ants always finds way to make holes of my noodles. someone said to put insect chalk along the side of the glass stalls. I already keep the sugar in a plastic to keep the ants away.

LOL I really feel for you. I've never had a problem like you do...the most we ever had were the tiny black ones that get around the kitchen sink once in a while...thankfully we don't have any here at all. My Grandmother used to get fire ants in her home in Texas and they got so bad once that they actually killed her female Chihauhau and it's new pups. They found out later that there was a huge mound of them under their house so it was almost impossible to get rid of them. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

OMG! same thing happened to me. i left fo vacation and forgot to throw out the trash and there was food in there so when i came back after 3 days there was ants EVERYWHERE, in the trashcan was the most, then they were all over my floor, in my bathroom, and some even made it up stairs! what made it worse was that they attracted spiders and there were a bunch of spiders eating up the ants! i used up all my bug spray and had to get more.
