What do you think about politics? Do you join your friends in disscussing politics? Or do you just try to fade into the background? I personally have voted in an election more than a few times, always with the same result. The person that I vote for, never gets picked and we end up in the same spot that we were in before, just with a different person. Personally, now I don't say anything. I once got into a discussion on politcs at a BBQ and the person asked me if I vote. I hadn't voted reciently and when I told that person, they told me to shut up because unless I take the time to vote I don't have the right to an opinion. now correct me if I am wrong, but the last time I checked, there was this little thing called FREEDOME OF SPEACH! I thought that this person was very rude and just because I don't vote anymore, doesn't mean that I don't have the right to voice my thoughts. While I might not vote, I still have to live with the decisions that these so called LEADERS keep making for us. I think that that gives me the right to talk about it just as much as the next person. Have you every been through this before? What would you do? Do you think that this person is right? Should I just keep my mouth shut because I don't vote?

I like to stay very politically involved, to me its the future of our country thats at stake. I also feel there are alot of people out there voting that shouldn't be.

I talk to my friends about it, but none of the m are interested in it. Poitics do very much affect what happens in our lives, and I believe tha we should be paying more attention to them.

I want to talk about politics. But I don't like what politicians, are done in our society. Politics in the worlds is seems to be going worst where politicians don't handle it good. We need to know and discuss politics to know what is our right and how to redress our grievances in terms that the government abuse their powers and not anything improve our lives. Even that person is very rude, just talk with it in a right manner not debate about politics. We need to discuss the bad sides and good sides of the politics so that the person whom knowledge about politics will open their eyes on the igrregularities on the government

I think politics is fun, but can be a bad topic to discuss at family gatherings! my friends and i go back and forth, about the neat stuff the prez is doing and what would have happened if the wingnut would have got to the oval office. Since my friends go the Democrat way and the Repubic way, and yes i meant to spell it that way, my friends and i are always going back and fourth. And sometimes i like for it to fade into the background as if it never exsited. if someone asks who you are voting for or something, you tell them you are an independent, or like me when people asked i just said Obama all the way. No, just because you didnt vote doesnt mean anything!
