I'm sure i have a bunch of them . I LIVE ALONE SO I can't bother anybody too much. MY most aggravating is probably being so outspoken but that's the way i am. Don't mean to offend anybody but am sure i do at times. What u see is what u get w/me.

Hi, Pola!
I'm trying very hard to be a bit less expressive with facial expressions. It drives my husband crazy that everyone knows just what I'm thinking. I didn't even know I did that until quite recently, until one of those This Has Been Bothering Me for At Least 25 Years discussions. Now I'm very aware of it. I think I'd find it annoying, too.

face expressions can be very funny...so you can show what you think.....
I know I use my forehead to much....I am aware of it because I am getting some wrinkles...

Hi Pola!
I dislike when people shout and talk in a raised tone. I failed to understand that even if one is upset, when cannot s/he control his voice and voulume. Shouting/yelling does not help, it further precipitates the situation. The second one is on my list is - breaking of queue. I've noticed that there are many incorrigible souls in this world who neither care about standing in a queue nor believe in forming a queue, they just want to reach on the top by hook or crook. I fail to understand that why cannot people be a bit patient and stand in queue(s) so that everybody could get the things, when his turns comes.
Have a great day!

I know what you are talking about, I don't have problem with people breaking the line, but maybe I am not shopping in crowded spots...it would be very irritating...

hello friend,
I cannot speak of my habit much, as other people are the best to judge it. That said, I have not received any complaints from anyone as yet.
I hate others talking loudly on phone at public places. It is really irritating. Second thing is people ignoring simple public messages at metro or such places, which is for their own good.

It is not about education , it is how they were rised as children, most habits are from childhood...

sincerely, there are those habits that one can keep up with and those that you feel are way too much. Picking the nose is a habit that most people cannot tolerate yet you will find those who do that in public.

What is the most irritating habit I have about other people? Well for starters Seeing someone pick their nose. And another is always interrupting others while they are trying to talk and talking over what they are saying you know like trying to get their words in before you can yours. Another one is men who never seem t be able to pee in the toilet and you find it on walls, floors and seats.

Maybe we will have to get a spritz bottle after them like they do cats and dogs that do that..lol or make them clean the bathroom up instead of us. I have a sister in law on my husband side that made her husbands sit to potty since they were such a bad aim..seriously it is the truth..she got tired of every time she had to potty she either got a wet fanny or had to clean it before she could use it. So she gave them the ultimatum either sit and use it or clean the bathroom daily. They chose to sit..

I have a hard time dealing with people when they are sucking, chewing or biting on their fingernails. I just want to slap them and hand them a nail file. Cussing is another habit I don't like. If you want to talk to me then use the English language to do so. Don't put a few dozen colorful words in and expect me to enjoy conversing with you.
I have a few habits that probably drive people crazy. I am OCD. I like things to be exactly where they belong. If they are moved, I will move them back. I am restless. I like to stay busy all the time. I have a very hard time sitting, relaxing and doing nothing.

No, not at all, none... I'm perfect. 0:-) see my halo?
I know it annoys one of my friends that I can always see the other side of an argument, especially when it's one of her arguments and I see the other guy's point of view.

It doesn't mean that you have bad habit, maybe your friend needs to understand that you are free to think...

I think the most annoying habit people have is coughing or sneezing all over you, like doesn't anyone cover their mouths anymore???...I'm particularly talking about when one is out on errands, and walking along and someone sneezes and coughs in my direction...NOT a good thing around here since NY area where I am had the largest cases of Swine Flu. Also, people on the street with cell phones glued to their ears..and talking loud into them...I DON'T WANT TO KNOW every detail of a person's "hot" date and how many times they "did it"

it reminds me of my relative who talks on the phone so loud that you can hear it in the next side of the street....
Sneezing? good point, many people are sneezing without covering......

I have a neighbor that talks loud as well--guess she doesn't realize she's talking so loud and the whole neighborhood can hear her...LOL. also, it's the WAY she talks to her friends...if I had someone who talked to me like that I'd hang up--downright nasty

you didnt say about what habit you have irritating? my sons gf says when i worry over if my dog is ok that irritates her but i dont give a rats...ss most irritating to me right now is how my son and his gf (or anyone) calls across the house to each other, having conversations with each in another room cause their to lazy to walk to the other room. its like "hey, yadayada!" then from the other room, "huh?" then back to "I said, yadadayada...!" etc. crap, go talk to them in the same room. she dont do that tho if she wants to complain behind my back

I hate people who brag, who know no ends of themselves, parents who would invite just to have their child do a Britney spears number or even too much public display of affection.
But my special hatred is for people who feel obliged to prove how big they are by demeaning the people like waiters, drivers, delivery boys, maids etc. That is sinking too low just for nothing!

Hi polachicago, I'm coming to you from Australia now. I can't stand people crunching their knuckles, which is simular to you. I don't like people who never listen, and seem to be elsewhere when you're telling them something important.I'm not aware of any habit I have that drives people crazy, but that could be only that nobody has told me.

Smacking! I hate it when people smack their food, or their gum...It drives me nuts. Chew with your mouth closed, please! Some people chew with their mouth closed, but you can still hear them smacking. I cannot stand that. It grosses me out and irritates me so much.

The two that bug me the most are when men either don't put the seat up and wet it or leave the toilet seat up and when they leave the top of the toothpaste. I know they are cliché but it really bugs me, as those two irritations are so well known you'd think men would have learned not to do it by now.

I could never stand it when in school a teacher would catch his/her nails on the chalk-board. And also when anybody scratched their nails across a tin sheet. I had a friend who used to do it deliberately just to watch me squirm. The other thing I can't stand is the feel of nylon next to my skin. If I wear anything nylon, I always come out in a rash.. It's strange how things that are so commonplace and normal to some people can annoy others so much . - Derek

I don't think I have any habits..wait, I do! I have a bad habit of saying yes I know then showing them how much I know about the subject, especially if it's about personal experience. I guess it's a way to "one up" somebody and it's a very obnoxious habit. Nobody's ever said anything about it but it irritates me to no end when I do it. Sometimes I'll even cut myself off and explain that I have a bad habit of trying to be a know it all.
