Have you ever had a garage sale?

I have only had one garage sale in my life. I had one before I moved to Texas. We sold pretty much everything we had. We wanted to start all over. I think we did pretty well. I can't remember exactly, but it was enough to get us here. We need to have another one now. It's been almost ten years and we have accumulated a ton of stuff. We have bags and bags of clothes that no longer fit and a ton of toys the boys no longer use. It would be a huge garage sale. We're waiting until it gets cooler. Having a garage sale in 100 degree weather is not very fun.

My daughter, her friend and myself had a garage sale at the end of May and another one a week ago. We did pretty well, I didn't have a lot of big stuff, just stuff I didn't want to move again, since I'm moving from Virginia to Texas in a few weeks. She was also selling things she didn't want to move from one house to their new one. We did pretty good. I made about $50 from just little stuff I didn't want or need.

I've had several yard sales and garage sales over the course of my life. Sometimes I've done really well, and sometimes I haven't. It kind of depends on what kind of neighborhood you're in and how much traffic you get. I've also taken my stuff to the flea market to sell, and I've done fairly well there, too.

I've had a couple of them, our last one, before we started travel nursing was great. We sold everything and made about $1,000.00 bucks. I like it when you have something marked $10.00 and people always go lower, why is that? At the end we were just giving stuff away for free.

While watching tv i saw that in other countries garage sale was very popular. I want to try this, find me exciting and full of happiness after you get what you want. But i dont know if this will also work here in our place because i dont see more often doing garage sale. Maybe i should give it a try i have lots of stuffs here in my room and its really make my room messy :( ...and i have lots of clothes that are not using anymore, but i know selling old clothers here called "ukay-ukay" is popular anywhere here but i dont know if garage will works, so will see =)

Yes, I have had several garage sales. Usually, I went in with other people and that way there was a little more stuff. I have also done a few as fund raisers like for youth groups or other groups. It's a lot of work but is usually a great deal of fun too!! My aunt used to make the most money at our family garage sales! It was amazing to watch her! I have never made any huge amount of money, but I usually made enough to make it worth it!

I wanna try it. But I haven't. i don't know if it is a hit in my place.
