metro trains collide,killing 4 and wounding 70

One metro transit train smashed into the rear of another at the height of Washington's Monday eveyning rush hour.killing at least 4 people and injuring scores of others.
The crash around 5PM EDT took place on the system's red line,Metro's busiest,which runs below ground for much of its length but at ground level at the site near the Maryland border.
Metro chief John Cato said the first train was stopped on the tracks,waiting for another to clear the station ahead,when the trailing train plowed into it form behind.Officials had no explanation for the accident.

That is really sick. My condolences goes out to those who lost loved ones in the accident and sympathy for the injured and the suffering. But you know what accidents like this makes me more appreciative of being a life. I guess its telling us that we should live our life to the fullest and be good to others. In just a blink of an eye everything can end.

this is very very sad news.i have not seen or hear any news like this here for a long time.there are many fires and accidents but not with trains.it be nice if they find why and how the trains have collided.they have control and switches for this making sure that every train is on their own track ryt?good luck to them to find out and tell the people and the families of the people who are killed in the accident.same to those family of the many people wounded.
