How often do you come back to visit your parents?

I live far away from my family because of my work as well. My dad passed away and my mother live alone. I asked her to live together with me but she get used everything in my hometown and unwilling to move. I am planning to leave my current job to move back to my hometown but i am still waiting for the new job offer. i hope i will get new job very soon.

I also lived far away from my family because of my work. I visited them once a year, the means of transportation in our place is very difficult and traveling there takes eternity. The expenses also are very expensive. I texted them everyday, anyway.

hello iwy! when i am still working, i rented a room for me to stay because our house is far from my work and its difficult to travel almost 2 hours daily...my parents are sad that i moved out but they understand it...but when i am already living far from them, i still go home weekly. every weekends and sometimes when i got to miss them, i even go home in a middle of the week... and after two months, i ended up going back at home! but now that i am already married, i have to live far from them again...i am living now in a different province and i just have once every year chance of visiting them... its not because that's what i want but that's what i have to do...i know they are sad when i left but now they totally understand the whole situation and before i get married they already know that our situation will be like this because of my husband's nature of work. i know they miss me so much and me as well, but i think they are not that lonely because i still have my brother living with them a and they are not yet that old...my father is 50 and my mom is going 49. when i go home, since i just have a week for this vacation, i see to it that i maximized my days with them...i stay with them the whole week and we do things that we miss to do when we are away...i wish i could bring them here where i live, but that will be expensive and we don't have much money to spend... but anyway all of us are used to this situation and we are still happy having an open communication and our family bonds are still very close and intact! have a nice day and regard's to your parents!

I only get to visit my parents one a year .It sucks .Lucily my boyfriends entire famly lives here in Texas so they are my support system around the holidays when i am missing my mom ,dad and sister . I am going on vaction to see them in less then a months so I am way excited even though that will mean i will have to wait another year after that to see them again . My parentshamy gradparents move in a couple of years ago so no i dont think the are lonely , they have an at home business and they take care of my grandparents
