I am looking for a new game to play. Not an MMO but a game I can play alone and enjoy myself. I like the sims 2 and 3 because you can create stuff and build houses. I love to build houses. I also like to control things. I like "history" type stuff, such as ancient civilizations, ancient times, building empires, and such. I just can't find a game that meets my requirements. If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate them.

Well if you want to build houses you can try "Simcity 4" or "Simcity Socities (Newer than Simcity 4)" in these two games you will be building a city and getting taxes from your people the main thing you have to do in these games is to get a stable economy unlike The Sims, in Simcity you dont control the people and you dont tell the people what to do.
For games related to history:
Age of Empires Series (This game is situated in the time of Romans and Greeks you have to build civilizations and fight wars)
Ceaser Series (Same as age of empires)
Red Alert 2 and 3 (These games are situated in World War 2 era in these games you will build an army and your main objective is to destroy enemy You can also choose sides There are two sides Allieds and Soviets both have different types of Armies)
Command & Conquer Series (Same as Red Alert)
World in Conflict (Almost same as Red Alert but with much better Graphics)
Medal of Honor Series (A first person shooter game situated in WWII)
Call of duty Series (A first person shooter game situated in WWII)

Well thank you for the lengthy reply and not an one word answer, umairanwer. :p I've never played Red Alert before, I have lots of friends that play it though, maybe I should give it a try, you made it sound interesting. I have played Simcity 4 but not Simcity Societies. Thanks again for giving a little explanation for each game.

I am not sure how to do that. I "rated" it, not sure if that's selecting it as best response.

Go buy the COMMANDOS series from Eidos. You can control up to 7 special Commandos to finish each mission. Very very good game for me.

I have never heard of the Commandos series from Eidos. I do like controlling so this may be worth researching and seeing if it's good enough to buy. Thank you Redhornet117 for the reply. I am definitely going to go check it out. :)

Thank you for replying Radhanair1001. I have played some of the tycoon games, they are very fun and they do sustain my hunger for the game I am craving, but I am still looking for something more. Thanks again and have a nice day. :)
