The money matters more important nowadays than yester years & it is for just this sake both the parents in a family go for work.....they get their child admitted in a creche or in a place where the child can be until they return back home from work....the child is deprived of the love & care form its mom & day in & dayafter their little ones will be counting time when dad or mom will take me back to home .........can you justify this?...

I don't work but my 4yr old goes to daycare twice a week during school hours. She is an only child so my initial reason for doing this was to help her to socialise with other children. She starts prep school next year so she is already used to not being at home every day. She also learns different things at daycare than what she learns at home.
I have to agree that it is not good for children to be away from their parents every day for long hours. When my older children were in daycare many years ago, there were a lot of children at that centre who were there from when they were babies and you could tell the difference in the way they behaved.
I believe that a baby should stay at home with a parent for at least their first year so that they can bond... just my opinion. I do realise that some parents have no choice about working in order to survive.
