I know many will say they are always positive in life or so. It is not for them to think they do not want to live. But in general, at times do you feel you do not want to live anymore?
I have experienced this situation quite a few times now. Just currently all due to negative facts in life, I am just tired of being alive. I was thinking yesterday why I was not killed in the near fatal accident 2 years back?
I had come out of it with stay in ICU for 7 days, ling operations etc. But I am alive. Many thought it was miracle. But why this happened? I am now experienching the tough time in life. Its so hard to find a project, so hard to find anew job so that I can switch and so little money.
In your life do you feel ever you don't want to live any more?

Of course, I have had this feeling but I have also had the feeling that I should just survive this pain and I will be alright again. Cheers!!

you really should stop thinking like that..
there must be some 'divine' reason, that you survived that fatal accident 2 years back.. it just wasnt your time to die yet,then.. and it is not the time for you to give up now.. if you believe in God, you must believe that He knows best - and He will abandon you, as long as you believe and pray for His help and guidance..
furthermore.. you always mention that you have parents who rely on you..
how can you think of giving up on life, and leave them behind..??
i know life can be really difficult and very depressing - be patient and strong..
look for the good and positive, be thankful for what you have that others may not..
good luck !!

Everytime I have a problem I ask my self if anything can get worse than this. And then some other problem comes up that seems to be worse than the previous problem. But that is life. We have to learn to be brave and tackle all our problems. I too am at present going through a very bad phase in life and there are problems that I cannot even discuss about to anyone. But have to just put on a brave front and face the world.....be brave.....God is with you and you are always in my prayers.

It is totally normal to feel so as I believe. Once I was really down because I was the only one to get reffered in a paper in my class when I taught everyone who did not know and they all got a pass so I was so frustrated that I wanted to drop everything and I was always thinking negative things.
But I realised that if we think negative we will always be negative in life and no matter what happen, life continues so I shall not stop as time will not stop for me so I just continue with what life had left for me, I had done the exam again and luckily i even passed.
So since that day I have encountered many experiences like this one and It is just a challenge for me now. If you let time go then it will be you who will lose but if you challenge time and work to if then life will take you back. So always remember to give what is required only instead of giving your best always.

there are times when I feel that way but I don't really want to die, not at all,
if you feel that way you need to get professional help, you need to see a doctor and tell him how you feel, I know you are unhappy, and things are not going the way you want them to, but there is help my friend, please see a doctor.

I have felt like that many times but I guess we all have a purpose for being here. I have asked the lord to take me home many times but I am still here also. We all go through alot of things but if we keep trying, things do get better in time. I hope it happens for you soon too.

Yes, this thought had occured in me for many times during my childhood days- "Do I want to live anymore?". Now when i rewind those days and the incidents for which i felt like that, surely i am unable to control my laughter. Just for the cases of Failing in the class tests and getting scolded by the teacher, i was moved to that situation of "Do I need to live anymore?" Funny. But as I grew i became a bit matured and now I am having a strong belief that "Nothing is the End of anything" and there are always new, unfound ways for our development and because of those views i am able to overcome that Negative thought efficiently. I have come across many problematic situations but never had that negative thoughts anymore.

I feel that a lot of times. Lots of discouraging incidents in life makes me upset of it. But every time i think of dying i think what my parents and brother will go through on my loss. I can't imagine them being sad over me. So every time i think something would happen and i will die (since i don't have the courage to end it myself), i end up crying thinking about my parents broken heart.

Hi Subha,
I am so sorry for what happened in your life but I would rather suggest donot give up. Be positive and try to be happy. Do things which u like. Keep yourself busy all the time and one day you will forget what happened in your life. Life is a struggle full of sadness, happiness, stones and love though..you just need to achieve all...All the best!!

yes i and infact all of us feel this way atleast once in life..and it is human tendency to react this way when nothing is goin right..when all seems bad its very difficult to be positive..but yet again it boils down to your approach..if practised a extremely positive approach towards problems can be achieved..so believe in yourself and have faith in god..:)

I feel like this daily. It angers me the way life is and the fact that there is nothing i can do to change it. Have to work my whole life for what? Make a little bit of money, rack u some bills, get in debt, get harased by collection companies? Plus everyone paints an image of happiness and finding someone you love and all this other stuff. But again for what? everyone is going to die at some point. what is the pupose of money and love and careers and everything else. Nothing, it wont matter anyway.

It is really happening more often these days but still I am motivating myself every time because we have to take care about our parents who have cared us from our childhood and now its our turn to return it with interest and as it is not possible we have to take care till it is possible for us.
Yes it is really hard these days to get new job or some earning opportunity.
Even I am feeling the heat from my family but they are really supportive and so trying to keep there faith alive.
