I am very proud to say that my child likes the dishes I cook. He is a little fan:) I have a bottle of red wine to make some dishes. One day my husband poured a little and drank it, it really upset my son as he said it's for mom to cook only. He is also happy to help me to cook. If your children don't like eating specific food, you shall let them assist you so that they will be interested in the food.

I love cooking and sometimes I really like the dishes that I prepare..I am a very choosy person,so when I like those dishes I hope that my kids, when I will have one, will also love eating the dishes that I will prepare...
As a kid I loved the dishes that my mom used to prepare.I love home made food over fast fods.

Good for you I have a really busy schedule and I am not a very good cook so ever since I got married, I didn't cook anymore. My mother in law does the cooking. But I can see the joy in her eyes whenever my boys would ask for seconds because they really enjoyed the dish that she has prepared. Maybe someday when I don't have to work anymore, I can try to prepare dishes for my little boys too.

There are times when my daugther loves what i cook for her... but when she is in her picky food mood... she would rather just drink milk or have bread... but i do understand her for that... since i know that i am not a very good cook... and everytime my husband is at home... he usually does that work in the home...

i'd like to think that they do... and i honestly think they do..
they are a few dishes that i know they really like - chicken curry, spaghetti, fried rice, my mixed-vegetable dish...
but i've already 'trained' my children to eat (appreciate) whatever is served to them, given the fact that i am a working mother - and it is not easy for me to cook them dinner every evening..

Hi, I don't have kids on my own, but my niece loves my cooking. She loves the Chinese dishes I make as here she only eats Indian at home. She loves noodles the best and I've made her varieties of preparation for her.
Last week, I made spaghetti and chicken minced sauce. I brought over to her and she liked the sour/spicy taste of the sauce. It's happy to hear from children about cooking! They're very honest!

Morning, youless. Sometimes I do the cooking at home during the summer and winter vacations, but I am sorry to say that my son doesn't think much of it. lol. He prefers the food cooked by his mother, grandmother and his second aunt on my wife's side as well as my sister's. Anyway, I enjoy what I cook. hehehe.
It is a wonderful thing that your cute son loves the dishes you cook for the family, as can be seen from those previous discussions that I have visited or responded to. A good chef is so important in the family. Enjoy yourself making different dishes with different new ways, youless.

You are such a smart and clever mom
to let your son help you cook.
My daughter is around your son's age, I think.
And, she loves to help me bake.
This past month she helped me bake muffins,
cup cakes and bisquits.
Of course, her part was just pouring and stirring.
I put the stuff into the oven.

That is a very good way to teach your child like food and learn cooking! I can feel the love from you to your son. He must be very pround of you! It's so cute that you son says that "The red is for mom only!".
