Do you like travel with a few or a lot of people?

I always like to travel with a few people. I think more people means more ideas. It is hard to make a decision because various kinds of opinions. And if some of them wake up late, it will really spoil the travel schedule.

Well, I do agree with you. I prefer to travel with a few people if possible. I have had traveled in groups of around 10 over co-workers during our overseas trips these few years, and sometimes, if someone in the group wakes up later, or is late for our meet-up, all of us have to wait for the person. There's also other issues such as where to go to and the meeting place and time, if we decided to split for our individual shopping. We previously encountered a problem where one of us got lost from the group and did not come back at the stipulated time. We had to go and find that missing person before we leave the mall, and that took us around half an hour of waiting... Lastly, we have also encountered problems about eating, as we do have different races of people in our group, and they are not able to eat some of the food. We had to find one restaurant which serve food that he can eat... With all these problems, I do prefer to travel with a few persons if possible. Even so, sometimes it's sometimes enjoyable when travel in big groups. The best thing I think when traveling in big group is it's usually a free trip because these are often organized by my company...

Yeah, these are the disadvantages of traveling with many people.

Yes, I do agree that these are the disadvantages of traveling in a group. We have to consider everyone in the group, and make sure that everyone are together. In addition, if there are older people in the group, we have to take extra care in looking out for them and not lose them. There are lots of responsibilities in traveling with a group of people. It's certainly better to travel in small groups/with just 1 or 2 people. This way, it's easier to travel around and you are able to enjoy yourself more.

Morning, youless. I agree with you on this point because if there are too many people on the travel together, then it is absolutely difficult to reach the same agreement. Each of them will hold a different idea that makes it hard for the travel. But do we have a way out? Sure, we do. We need to elect a leader in charge of the trip and everyone is supposed to follow him. You know, to travel with a lot of people is a team or group work or entertainment. A nice team work makes what we do easier and better. Have a good day, youless.

If so, I want to be the leader

No problem for you to be the leader because I have sensed that you have the talent to be a leader somehow. Organize a trip with a lot of people and you will know the result. Otherwise you will never know how it feels to organize a large group of people for traveling. Of course, the same is true of some other things we do in our daily work and life. Enjoy yourself, youless.

I prefer to travel either by myself, or with only one or two other people. I find that if you travel in large groups, you often miss out on what you want to do, because if the majority of the group wants to do other things, then you get out voted. I like being able to set my schedule and decide what I want to do. I know that holidays are meant to be for relaxing, but when I travel, I like to experience the local culture and do as much as possible to get the most out of it.

I can travel either way. The last few times I've traveled somewhere I've gone alone because of the circumstances, but if I can travel with a group of people I will definitely do that too. As long as I get where I'm going, and all involved have a good time, that's all that matters to me.

I prefer to travel with a few people because it is easier to account for the people that you are with. And yes, because its so hard to decide where to go next and where to eat if there are so many others to consider. That is also the reason why we are hesitant to travel with tours because you have to adjust to everyone's schedule and you can't decide on your own.

do i have a choice??.. i have a family of seven people (me,hubby+5children) - would you say that a few or a lot 'of people'... but i really prefer to travel with my own family - even when we do go for outings with a larger group - we normally just set the 'target destination and estimated time of arrival'.. and set off on our own.. because most of us travel with small children and you know how unpredictable they are.. so.. we just make a promise to meet where at what time... and let each family go off on their own cars - if by chance we meet at the hiway, we'll follow each other until anyone decides to stop somewhere.. but in the end.. we'll meet at the 'final destination' at the agreed time.. that way - no one controls any other person, everybody happy...

Probably a family will be different. After all, you have lived with each other for a long time and you can adjust to each other. I can see in the future your family will grow bigger. After your children get married and have their children

I prefer to travel with just a few friends. Probably 5 or 6 at most. For closer destinations though, like maybe just a trip to a beach somewhere, I don't mind having a lot of people. But to be honest, it's hard traveling with people, it doesn't matter how many, because there will always be a difference in opinion, and you have to work that all out. It would be lonely though to travel all alone. So as long as I can get a long well with whoever I am traveling with, I don't mind traveling with a few friends. I don't want to travel with too many people because it's hard to keep track of everyone in the group, especially when somebody goes missing LOL!

I like to travel with a few friends, especially with my closed friends, because most of things you can get in common, we know each other, and it makes us happy and free.if I travel with some strangers, maybe we can learn a lot each other, but there are something makes me uneasy.next month our company will travel together,I don't like that.if give me a choose,I will climb hua mountain which is arduous and famous in our country with my friends.

Actually,I like travelling by myself. As you said, more people means more ideas, this is also the main reason that I like travelling alone. By myself,I can go anywhere whenever a good place comes into my mind and don't need to think about whether others would like to go or not.

I always prefer to travel alone my friend, that way I can do what I want, when I want and I don't have to compromise or rely on other people! I have nearly always travelled alone, I am far too independent and selfish I guess in that everything I want to do I get to do and I don't have to ask permission or have arguments about it. No the solo traveller is my life and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I like to just travel with my husband, or maybe my husband and my brother and sister-in-law. Not too many. You are right, the more people, the more discussion, the less action, and lots of problems with routines and sleep cycle.

Most times, I travel with my family. Since it's just the three of us we have no real issues making decisions. Just the two adults and one child. We take her suggestions very seriously. If she wanted to stop somewhere and look at something or play at some fun park while we were traveling, I'm sure we would do that. Our travel vacations are always more impromptu and laid back to help keep the fun.

yeah,I see your point .From my standpoint ,I prefer to travel with some of friends .I mean ,not much people and not go solo.Generally speaking , most people would like this way .For one thing is the they can share with others instead of enjoying lonely even the landscape is really grace .For another thing is ,we can take care each other cause we are friends .Safety comes first anyway! while there are thousands Hamlet in a thousand people's eyes !

This is the advantage of many people. But I still prefer to have a peaceful travel without many arguments. More people have more ideas, it's hard to listen to any of them.
