Is the Airconditioner in yet?

I conned my hubby to put ours in last night. We rent and our yard has zero trees which equals zero shade. Our place heats up quickly. I love warm weather but cannot stand when its so hot that you sweat just sitting and the worst is when it is really humid. My sister is the opposite. She loves the heat and if there is a cool breeze out she acts chilled and I just want to slap her..haha
So I was just wondering if others already have an air conditioner and if so is it in yet?

Hi ribbon, although suffering with mega heat at the moment I have never chosen to have air conditioning in the house as don't really like the feel of it. Instead I try to combat the heat with fans. Sitting in the car is worst as the air con there which i normally run with the windows open at the same time, is broken. Just getting in after the car has been sitting in the heat is stifling. I don't like to complain about the heat though as I spend half the year complaining about the cold so feel the heat is the better of the two options.
