If your going to a deserted island for a few days what will u take with you?

The way your question is stated, it supposes this is a planned trip to this island, so I would assume you knew what resources would be available to you from the local flora and fauna.
Assuming there is fresh water upon this island, and there is adequate flora and fauna, I think a few books would be in order...
Books with depictions of edible flora, and perhaps on how to build traps and snares for whatever wildlife there may be.
Oh and perhaps a weapon to protect yourself with if any of the wildlife is large enough to pose a threat.

I would take basic needs at least food and water. Maybe a toothbrush.

I guess it would depend on how much advance notice you had. I would also say it depends on how you are allowed to bring along. If it is only to be a few days, I would probalby bring food and water. But, in addition to that, I'd probably bring a few good books to read!
