do you think if you bite your nails and you start wearing nail polish you can break the habit? i don't bite my nails but i have friends who do and i want to suggest they wear nail polish so their nails taste bad like chemicals (ha ha ha). Do you think it will work? What are other ways to stop the nail biting habit

nail polish idea is good ,but he/she should not addict to nail polish.
and if any one do manicure,frequently,he/she should not have habbit of nail biting.
we should be not in stress mood or think no one understands us. we should not be bad towards others and be friendly with others. then we dont get habbit of nail biting.

yes, it does for me. years ago i do have the same habit and my mother also developed the habit of scolding me. hehehe..
i trimmed my nails, not long and not short. that way, ill think twice before biting. i cant remember when did i started using nail polish exactly but i guess i was still in high school -- over a decade now. i love my nails if i have it colored nicely. i guess it's the part of my body that i gave much attention to. :B

no, i dont think it will work! maybe you should get fake nails, then you cant bite them! my daughter has been biting her nails forever and we have tried everything, even the nasty tasting stuff you paint on your nails to stop from biting them, nothing works!
