independence - at what age did you acheive?

How long did it take you to acheive independence (i.e., no financial support from your parents)?
if you are not yet independent at what age to you plan to be independent?
Are you ok with living with your parents for the rest of your life?

I was 13 the day I got my first job my mum said she will help me out with money if i needed it but if I just wanted it then she wont give it to me unless I earn it. I was working for 7 years before I lost my job and have relyed on myself since then. I know its a young age but it has taught me the value of money
