When grilling which do you use? What tastes better? Which one is more expensive to use? I've always used charcoal myself but have been considering switching to propane.

I use charcoal and have a made up barbecue. To buy a prpane barbecue would be absolutly out of the question. I don´t even know what tastes better. But for me, charcoal barbecue is part of life. Put a picture preparing the charcoal. We don´t use hamburgers, only steaks

It's not grilling if it's not on charcoal. If it's propane it's no different than dragging the stove outside in my opinion & there's none of that awsome "char" flavoring.
I've never had a propane one myself but FIL does and to me it's a waste there's no "flavor" nothing special added like when it's on a charcoal grill. I don't know wich is more expensive but I will say a propane set up is usually quite a bit more in cost than charcoal. Though I wish they had nicer charcoal grill like they have propane & they are just no where to be found.

Hi scooterport . .
Oh how I love the smell of the charcoal grill . .. but I love the ease of the propane. . .so it is a toss up for me
Happy Lotting to you!
