Did Obama do a good job in rescuing US?

Just wondering as it seems to me it is both a yes and a no. Overall from what I have read in a news, he had done a lot of stuffs since he is a president. But still, the world stock especially US stock is tumbling furiously. Are there anymore things he can help to pull us all out from recession or we just have to wait for the time to pass...zzzzzzzzzzz.
