what would be the all time best video game ever made??
and as far as board game lovers what board game would be your favorite??
I am addicted to sims and I am 30 years old people say that is sad but I love it and it's fun so that is my favorite games and I am also a big fan of all resident evil games and silent hill love my horror genre games. I am also fan of tomb raider like all those games too.

I've played a lot of first person shooter, best to date i've played so far is Call of Duty 4. I've also played a lot of MMORPG games. My first was Everquest then I shifted to World of Warcraft (WOW). WOW is good because of their content and story line plus excellent graphics. Some people play the game to make money especially the asians.
How they do it? Well the simplest method is to collect all the in-game money you can then sell it on ebay to real people for real money. Go ahead and check it out. Some people may even level up a character and sell it to people who's too lazy to grind for XP.
I play WOW mainly because I like the story. After some time though it gets frustrating because this game depends on team playing. There are contents for solo missions and such but the greatest content is in the team playing. In team playing you have to commit yourself to a certain time because your team wouldn't appreciate you leaving the team suddenly during a mission. I can't really commit that much time because i'm a working man and had too much things to do in real life.

Although it's an old game, I'd submit Battlezone from Activision. Graphics were great for those years, but what makes it stand out is the command interface which is rarely seen in first person games.

This is a really good discussion because video games are really important when it comes to everyday life,because they are a wonderful source of fun and enjoyment either when you are extremely bored,or when you have nothing to do,like on the days where it is either really cold outside or raining,and you do not want to leave the house for anything,and I am sure that different people prefer different types of games,so I am sure very few people have the same favorite video game since most people have different games they are good at,and that they play,when it comes to me I would say my favorite game of all time would be any one of the four Splinter Cell games,because I love the Splinter Cell series,and it is and always will be my favorite series,because you get to sneak around and complete objectives,and assassinate terrorists without them seeing you,and me and my fiance are waiting for Splinter Cell Conviction to come out this month so we can complete our Splinter Cell collection since Conviction will be the fifth and final installment of the series,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

I'm a fan of Tekken Dark Resurrection tho it's pretty morbid. I do also love playing PATAPON because I feel stress free when I'm playing it.

The best game i have ever played is starcraft. Damn good storyline. I dunno why but the story stuck on me. Of course i was good with the game, made a lot of money from competitions when i was a teenager. Can't wait for the second one. Blizzard sure took their time with it, i've been waiting for years for it. hope they don't screw it up. Unfortunately blizzard wanted to split the game in three. Sigh, they just want to squeeze more money outta us.
In my opinion, what made a great game is 3 aspects. 1-the storyline (this is the absolute number one, no matter how ugly your graphics, if you have a good story, people will play it) 2- graphics (eye candy is always good) and last 3- control simplicity (the simpler the game control is the better it is. though i think this is purely based on people preference).
Oh yeah, here's another example of a good game. Star Control 1 and 2.

The best video game I have ever played is Mortal Kombat very fun but violent. And remember don't mind what other people say to what you are playing as long that you are having fun. =))
