Cat Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray this cushy life to keep.
I pray for toys that look like mice,
And sofa cushions, soft and nice.
I pray for gourmet kitty snacks,
And someone nice to scratch my back,
For windowsills all warm and bright,
For shadows to explore at night.
I pray I'll always stay real cool
And keep the secret feline rule
To never tell a human that
The world is really ruled by cats!

Cats are not for me
They do things in my garden
They once gave me flea(s)
Without so much as a "I beg your pardon"
Cats are not for me
They don't play ball and fetch
They hide up in my tree
And fur balls they retch
Cats are not for me
One once pooed on my path
Then regurgitated his tea
No, cats just incur my wrath
I’m going for my bath!

mine follow me everywhere..my bro calls them my shadows lol
LOL they'd just make new toys if i did that..i had to get a sneaker back from one today.

Very true I've got one of mnie using me as a heated cushion - I'm under strict instructions not to move in case I disturb her magesty..

This is really cute but I have to tell yuou that the world is ruled by parrots. Parrots who wake you up in the morning outside in their tree home. Yes, parrots. I love parrots. Parrots rule the earth, bless their little curved beaks

We actually had parrots at our first house in Van Nuys. We aren't quite sure if they were escaped pets or escaped from Busch Gardens or what, but there were quite a few of them. But here in Sacramento it's mockingbirds!

Oh, i may as well get one of them and experience being ruled by a cat! Perhaps she will also rule over my puppy and teach her where to poo!

Good idea to get a young cat while the dog is still young too. It's much easier for them to get along that way!

And that is why I love cats! I don't have to think to hard ...they do it for me. :) Dogs are so needy....cats don't need us, they tolerate us. :)
