Deadliest Catch, " AFTER THE CATCH", has a new host now, It's Ben Bailey ,

from the show "Cash Cab", also on the Discovery channel, the first show was last week which I meant to post about it and stupid me forgot all about it, and with all the puter problems of late I just had other things on my mind, but here it is again Tuesday and Tonight after another New show of Deadliest Catch, then "AFTER THE CATCH" will air...confused after all that?? LOL! Me too!! Season Five's Deadliest Catch is/has been very very good so far, its been a real nail biter again that's for sure, and now that they are fishing for opie's.. (the opillio) snow crabs, they are of course enduring the worst weather out in The Bering Sea in JANUARY...ARRRGGHHH!!! too much ICE and stinking cold Weather; It amazes me so much at what they go through to catch these blasted things which I've still never ate any in my lifetime; (sigh)! Could never afford them when eating out and I for sure can't afford them now a days! So anyway don't forget if you love to Watch "AFTER THE CATCH" ANOTHER new show will air tonight after we watch a new show of Deadliest Catch! YEAH BABY!! I like Ben Bailey but I want to know where the heck is MIKE ROWE??? I miss him not being there with the Captains... I guess Mike is just tied up doing other jobs or something I don't know, he still narrates on Deadliest Catch, but Ben is now hosting AFter the Catch oh well!! I DO LOVE it that they have this part of the show where we get to know the Captains even more and if you've not seen all of Season Five yet, BOY ARE YOU MISSING OUT ON SOME GOOD PRANKS AND other SERIOUS STUFF this year!!! Like I said this show keeps you on your toes in more ways than one!!! Its Funny, its sad, and I just love it!!!

I've watched Cash Cab and can answer many, if not most, of the questions he asks, but I still don't watch Deadliest. I never knew Mike Rowe was on anything other than Dirty Jobs and the Ford commercials (I now see him in their cars - before, it was their trucks). That's the guy's name? Ben Bailey? He looks very familiar. Don't know if I've seen him elsewhere or if it's because he looks a bit like Mike Rowe. Kind of like Tyler Florence and Bobby Flay look a lot alike.

Hey Jerz!! What?? You mean you watch the Cash Cab??? COOL!!! I like the show, I get a lot of them right and I miss a TON OF THEM TOO!! Hopefully somewhere in my over medicated brain I will retain some of the answers you know?? Yeah Mike is on TONS of Ford Commericals these days, and Yes this time around I am seeing him on the Car ones, The truck commericals I only heard "him" anyway Yes the guy that does the Cash Cab his name is Ben Bailey, and this time around he is hosting "AFTER THE CATCH"...about a month or so ago some of the Captains was on the Cash Cab raising money for their charity's and they did really really well I was suprised!! So now I know "why" they were on the Cash Cab, and now Ben is on "After the Catch"...aaaahh love the Discovery Channel!!!!! one of my few perks of living in town I HAVE THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL AND I LOVE IT! Ok I know who Bobby Flay is but who is Tyler Florence?? Ok stop laughing at me!!

He's another Food Channel cook, but I like Bobby Flay better. I'm surprised you don't watch more Food Channel. We're both foodies!!

God If I watch anymore food channel types of shows someone will have to come bull doze me out of my unit here, I won't be able to waddle out the door to my car; You know I gain 10lbs every time I watch a show!!! I get super hungry watching them! speaking of food, time to go fix some supper...having salmon cakes, patties whatever you want to call them tonight, its either that or peanut butter and jelly again; BLEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI Kellyjeanne: Sorry to be so long in replying, between getting ready for the 4th and trying to post anything using stinko dialup and this dying off computer its a wonder I can get anything posted... Mike Rowe is still doing Dirty JObs, and he is still narrating the show Deadliest Catch, (g) WOOHOOO!! I don't know why he's not doing "After the Catch" this season Bummer~!!! But I like Ben Bailey too and I do watch Cash Cab a lot, helps me to learn things I've forgotten or never knew ya know?? {{hugs to you and Mija}}

i really like after the catch almost as much as i like deadliest catch itself it is a chance to see them in a setting outside there work its nice...

Hi there kspezza09: I agree I too love the show After the Catch a lot, did you happen to watch it last night?? July 7th's show? The last five minutes was so cute, so emotional they had the wives come on and Sweet Sweet dear Edgar Hansen of the NorthWestern, lovingly asked his wife of 16 years to marry him again, I thought that was just the sweetest thing ever, he had changed into a nice suit WHISTLE WHISTLE! got down on one knee and proposed all over again to her; and what a KISS he gave her too (EG)! Lucky woman!!! It was great!!
