I love them so much! you can get so many new and old things for such a great price! What are some things that you have found, that you got a very good deal on?
I bought an old 1970's suitecase for only $20 it was great! And i bought 3 soviet era camera's for $5 each and one was $3! and of course a lot of vintage clothing!
please share what you bought!

I love thrift stores. I've found some vintage toys at dirt-cheap prices, and actually got my first camera -- a Pentax K-1000 that still works to this day -- at a thrift store.

That's great! Have you ever had a time where you bought something really nice, and then it turns out, that it doesn't even work!

I used to go in those kinds of shops all of the time and get some great bargains. However i did find that some of these shops were putting their prices up the same as a shop selling new things did.I think there are great things in these shops that people can get aswell as save alot of money.I have got alot of ornaments aswell as what i call junk jewlery for my girls when they were alot younger.

i usually look for clothes. there are many ukay-ukay here in the philippines. ukay-ukay is a store that sells second hand imported clothes, shoes, bags and accesories. i buy clothes even in bigger size and i just ask my mother to sew and adjust the size to fit me.

I used to shop at the main thrift shops like Salvation Army or Goodwill . . . but I don't like them now because I have heard seedy stories about the employees that work there. I do still go to the Rescue Mission ones. I also go to the little independent thrift shops . . . like one for the blind near where we live.
There are bargains galore at thrift shops!! I'm really bad because I go for the seriously cheap bargains. I like the 99 cent racks (probably thrift goods that have not sold in a long time). Used books are actually great deals . . . we can afford to buy my little one all the quality used childrens books - sometimes even at half the price which equals out to fifty cents or a quarter!
Treasure hunting (at a bargain) at thrift stores is the best!!!
