I just reached the 100 posts and got a star
and as I hover on it is saw mylot reputation 77/100
what is it for?

It is a rating that other users have given your responses. You see when you post a response, users will read it to see if it goes along with the discussion, and the will rate you either a positive or a negative. Now there will be times when users won't agree with you and they will rate you a negative and not a positive. I don't use the negative rating as I feel that if a user is going to take the time to respond then they deserve a positive. Now if the response isn't of a very good quality or not a very good respons, then I won't rate it at all. When you respond to discussions or start your own discussions, you can rate their response as there is a + and a -. I hope this helped you understand the rating system. Well, that thing usually happens on discussions about politics and religion in where a lot of different opinions exist and others give negative rating when they do not agree with the post.
